Purposes:
This
screen allows the MIMS user to establish a new Provisional File.
Prerequisites:
1.
MIMS
user must have applicable security authorization.
The
following groups have access to this panel:

Agents
·
System
Administrators
Helpful Hints:
Ø MIMS user must have already
progressed through the ‘Relate Party to Provisional File’ screen.

Procedure:
1.
Enter ‘Related MEP File Number’, if applicable.
2.
Select
‘Direction’ as either IN or OUT from dropdown list.
3.
Select ‘Legislation’ from dropdown list.
4.
Selects
‘ISO Jurisdiction’ from dropdown list.
5.
Enter ‘Party Number of ISO Jurisdiction’ in From
Jurisdiction field.
6.
Enter
‘File Number of ISO Jurisdiction’.
7.
Enter
‘ISO Attorney General Party Number’if direction is IN, or enters ‘Alberta Court
Party Number’ if Direction is OUT.
8.
Enter
Alberta Court Party Number if Direction is IN, in To Jurisdiction, or enters
ISO Attorney General Party Number if Direction is OUT.
9.
Enter
To Jurisdiction File Number, if known.
10.
Click
‘SAVE’. Pop-up message appears with ‘File was successfully created and has been
assigned File Number ‘P-99999’.
Click OK.
11.
‘Maintain
Provisional File’ screen is displayed.
Alternative Actions
1.
User
clicks CANCEL button; all information is deleted and screen is returned to
‘Maintain Provisional File’ screen.
